Biltong & Cheese Muffins

TOTAL TIME 35 minutes 20 seconds

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup grated cheese like Cheddar
  • 1 1/2 cup of biltong powder or other cold meat
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup oil

Instructions

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together.
  2. Whisk eggs, milk and oil.
  3. Mix all ingredients, do not overmix.
  4. Scoop into muffin pans and bake at 180'C for 20-25 minutes until baked well.

Notes

 

Powdered biltong can be substituted with any cold meat bits.

Flour can be substituted for gluten-free flour.
